Bouncy Castle Sales Advice
It is crucial that when you buy a Bouncy Castle for commercial use you seriously check the following points before making a buying decision. I have complied a list for buying both new and 2nd hand Bouncy Castles. For a start don't buy the Castles made out of raincoats found in Argos!
2nd Hand Bouncy Castles
Mildew - Check the bouncy castle for mildew, if the castle has mildew on it then believe me its extremely hard to get off! Not only does it make your castle less attractive to your customers its a good indication that the castle hasn't been taken care of and that the seller has never had the Bouncy Castle Repaired. Bleach can remove mildew but it can burn through or fade your castle.
Castle Bed Condition - Are there any wholes in the bed, especially look at the stitching at the bottom of the towers and on the safety step as these are some of the most common areas where stitching can come loose. Bouncy Castle Repair companies can re-stitch beds for around £150
Bouncy Castle Material - What material is the jumping castle made of? Some older castles are made with heaver material than today's lighter PVC Flame Retardant material.
Bouncy Castles From The Manufacture
Guarantee - Ensure that when purchasing a Inflatable Castle that you have a minimum of year guarantee, as there are some cowboys out there. This allows you to return the castle at any time during that first year if you find a manufacturing fault. Click on the following link to view details on the Bouncy Castle Manufacture that I use and strongly recommend above all others.
Design Specs - Ensure that the Bouncy Castle Sales Company inflates the castle and sends you a picture via email, I know that some manufactures tend to show a picture of castles on their site but when building the castle decide to change the the colours and sometimes even the pictures! This is doubly important if you are spending thousands for a custom build Jumping Castle.
Get Something Different - View my Bouncy Castles, all of them we're built to my specifications, I would strongly recommend that you base it on a "off the shelf" bouncy castle but make a few changes to it so its unique! A mistake that many Bouncy Castle Hirers make is that they ALL have the same castles as each other! and therefore are forced to compete on price, This is mad! Do what I do, have a custom built castle designed and I can tell you know that you will not only get more bookings but you can even increase your prices!
